Lights Over Logan Martin - Celebrating America 250

ABOUT THE EVENT

The City of Pell City is proud to host "Lights Over Logan Martin," a historic milestone celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the United States. To honor this once-in-a-generation Semiquincentennial, the Pell City City Council has invested in the single largest pyrotechnics display in our community's history.

There is no better place for this landmark celebration than the Pell City Sports Complex and Lakeside Park. As the heart of our community, this park brings our families together year-round, making it the perfect lakeside backdrop to celebrate our country’s enduring freedom, rich history, and bright future.

We are also incredibly proud that "Lights Over Logan Martin" has been named an official America250 Alabama event. We want to extend a huge thank you to America250 Alabama for their support and partnership, which is helping us elevate our traditional 4th of July into a truly historic celebration for everyone in our city.

Admission is completely free.

Independence Day Party: Starts at 5:00 PM.

Fireworks Over Lake Logan Martin: Starts at 9:00 PM.


Event Attractions

Coosa River Realty Food Truck Row will feature a massive selection of local vendors and eats parked right by the event site. Nearby, the WinSouth Kids Play Area will offer completely free inflatables and activities to keep families entertained until dark. 

Attendees can also enjoy music and entertainment presented by 94.1 The River on the Valley Bank Main Stage leading up to the fireworks. Be sure to visit the sponsor booths early to pick up complimentary items from the Patriotic Fan Zone so the entire crowd can light up the complex at dusk.

Attendees are highly encouraged to arrive early to secure prime seating, and everyone should bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

All general public traffic must enter through the main park entrances. Vendors and VIPs must display their official event hangtag on the rearview mirror to gain access through the controlled gate near the tennis courts.

To ensure a safe and efficient departure, the Pell City Police Department will route traffic out of Lakeside Park and the Sports Complex via four separate exit streams immediately following the fireworks. The Lakeside Park back gates near the Splash Pad will be fully open to run parallel exit lanes toward both Pell City and Talladega.
